Prisma Health and Clemson University have expanded their unique collaboration to address another critical health care need: the nation’s growing shortage of nurses.

In the fall 2018, Clemson University School of Nursing students began coursework at the Clemson University Nursing building, located on Prisma Health’s Greenville Memorial Medical Campus.

This expanded program allows students to live and study at Clemson University while exploring unmatched education and clinical opportunities during their junior and senior year with Prisma Health.

This Clemson/Prisma Health collaboration offers one-of-a-kind benefits for students:

• Guaranteed clinical rotations at one of Prisma Health’s seven campuses, all convenient to Clemson’s main campus
• Unique educational, clinical and interprofessional experiences co-developed by Prisma Health, one of only 100 recognized academic health centers in the U.S.
• Free transportation between Clemson and Prisma Health campuses

Program Information

All Clemson nursing students attend general education and foundational nursing classes on Clemson’s main campus during their freshman and sophomore years. A cohort of junior and senior students attend classes at Prisma Health’s Greenville Memorial Medical Campus with clinical rotations at a Prisma Health campus.
