Sarah Tomashefski, MSN, AGNP-C

Pulmonary APP Fellowship Director

Sarah Tomashefski is the lead outpatient Pulmonary APP. She is a graduate of Boston College's Adult Gerontology Primary Care program. She has over 10+ years’ experience as an ICU nurse and a Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner. She developed a passion for pulmonary and sleep medicine during her years as an ICU nurse. She joined Prisma Health in 2018 as a Pulmonary & Sleep NP and helps to lead the Lung Cancer Screening program. She is passionate about education and brining new APPs into this specialty.

Emily McWhorter, MSN, ACNP-C

Emily McWhorter received her master’s degree in Adult Gerontology Acute Care from the University of the South Carolina in 2019. Prior to that she worked as a registered nurse in the Cardiac ICU at Greenville Memorial. Emily is passionate about pulmonary medicine and patient/family education. Outside of work, she enjoys trying new restaurants and exploring downtown Greenville with all it has to offer.
