Emily Brackett, PharmD

Emily Brackett, PharmD, is originally from Aiken, South Carolina. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of South Carolina after earning her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Clemson.

She chose to pursue a residency at Prisma Health for the “family feel” she developed while working in the outpatient pharmacy for several years. After having clinical rotations at Richland, she saw the value preceptors place on student learning and interprofessional collaboration.

Currently, Brackett’s professional interest is internal medicine. She enjoys watching Clemson football, playing Nerf guns with her nephews, and working out at Barre3 with her sister in her free time.

Veronica Garrison, PharmD

Veronica Garrison, PharmD is originally from San Luis Obispo, California. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Cedarville University near Dayton, Ohio after completing her bachelor's at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.

She chose to pursue residency at Prisma Health because of the personable pharmacy staff and wide range of clinical opportunities. Garrison's professional interests include pediatrics and emergency medicine. She plans to pursue a PGY2 residency after completion of her PGY1.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time jet skiing at the lake and playing softball and volleyball.

Maura Kreiser, PharmD, is originally from Williamstown, PA. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina, Eshelman School of Pharmacy, after earning her B.S. in Chemistry from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania.

She chose to pursue residency training at Prisma Health because of their dedication to growth and development as both a person and a pharmacist. Professionally, her interests include emergency medicine and ambulatory care. Y

She enjoys cheering on the Tar Heels, live country music, and outdoor activities in her free time.

Colter Sheveland, PharmD

Colter Sheveland, PharmD

Colter Sheveland, PharmD, grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy from Samford University's McWhorter School of Pharmacy in Birmingham, AL after receiving his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont.

Colter chose to join Prisma Health for his residency training because of the program's strong association with The University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy and the array of learning opportunities afforded to the residents.

Sheveland is interested in pursuing a PGY-2 in infectious diseases after his PGY-1 training. He spends his time outside of pharmacy running and road biking.
