Welcome from the directors
Thank you for your interest in the Pharmacy Residency Programs here at Prisma Health! The residency programs are American Society of Health-System Pharmacist (ASHP) accredited.
Prisma Health Upstate houses American College of Surgeons (ACS) verified Adult Level I and Pediatric Level II Trauma Centers, Level III (highest) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and we are a Comprehensive Stroke Center (CSC). On campus we also have Marshall I. Pickens Behavioral Hospital, Prisma Health Cancer Institute, Heart & Vascular Institute, University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville, and Clemson University School of Nursing programs.
Our 9 total residents (PGY1 and PGY2) share a private office complete with refrigerator, microwave, and printer. In addition to the salary, residents are allotted a $300/month food stipend and free covered, on-site parking.
We are located in the center of Greenville, SC which is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Greenville’s dog friendly, flourishing downtown area will keep you entertained year-round. We were ranked 22nd for “Best Places To Live” by US News in 2019.
