Dr. Joy Dahlen is from Grand Forks, North Dakota. She completed her bachelor’s and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from North Dakota State University. She has her minor business administration and certificate in professional selling. She loves economics and was part of a fellowship program for economics in her last year of pharmacy school. Joy’s current areas of interest include ambulatory care and critical care. Upon completion of a PGY1, she plans to potentially pursue a PGY2 to specialize in an area interest. In her free time, Joy enjoys partner dancing, hiking, trying new foods and restaurants, and being outside. Fun fact about Joy is that she has made five wedding cakes for friends and family.

Dr. Hannah Green is from Washington, DC. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for both her undergraduate and Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Her current areas of interest include Pediatrics and Ambulatory Care. After her PGY1, she plans to pursue a PGY2 in an area of interest. Outside of pharmacy, Hannah enjoys baking, walking on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, and grabbing a hotdog while cheering on the Greenville Drive.

Ellis Simerly is from Charleston, South Carolina. He earned both his Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Doctor of Pharmacy from the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. The mission of the organization to expand access to care in South Carolina led him to pursue a residency at Prisma Health. His interests include transitions of care, 340B, and patient education. Outside of residency, you can find Ellis with his dog on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, exploring local restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Meggie Gilkey is originally from Charlotte, NC. She attended the University of Georgia for both her undergraduate studies and Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Her areas of interest include critical care and ambulatory care. Upon completion of her PGY1, Dr. Gilkey plans to pursue a PGY2 in an area of interest to become a clinical specialist, achieve board certification, and precept pharmacy students and residents. In her free time, she enjoys watching Georgia Football, spending weekends at the lake with her Boykin Spaniel, and visiting with her friends and family.
