Taylor Coston, PharmD, MPH

Taylor Coston, PharmD, MPH

Taylor Coston, PharmD, MPH is from Florence, Alabama. She received both her Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Public Health from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee.

She was drawn to Prisma Health for their well-established history of excellent post-graduate pharmacy education, variety of learning experiences, dedication to staff well-being, and commitment to the community. During pharmacy school, Coston was involved in several student organizations, but is most proud of her work regarding student well-being, expanding access to healthcare for the local unhoused population, and educating the community about mental health.

Professionally, Coston is interested in medication safety, quality improvement, population health, and mission pharmacy. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, volunteering, and playing with her adorable orange cat, Lily Michelle.

  • Major Project: Evaluation of statin intolerance documentation and impact of SUPD and SPC quality measures in the Medicare population

Scott Gourley, PharmD

Scott Gourley, PharmD

Scott Gourley, PharmD, is from Kansas City, Missouri, where he received his doctorate in pharmacy from the University of Missouri - Kansas City (UMKC). He previously earned his MBA and bachelor’s in biochemistry from Northwest Missouri State University (NWMSU). His interest in Prisma Health stemmed from the warm and friendly environment he encountered through Career Day and residency interviews. Those experiences coupled with broad learning opportunities were determining factors in him pursuing a residency at Prisma Health. His professional interests include operational management, leadership development, and pharmacy advocacy. In his free time, Gourley enjoys playing sports, traveling and learning new hobbies.
