PGY1/PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency Greenville - Director's Welcome

Thank you for your interest in the Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership PGY1/PGY2 Residency at Prisma Health-Upstate. While our program is entering its first year of recruitment for a resident our institution has produced successful clinicians and pharmacy leaders for several decades.

Our program offers the unique opportunity for the HSPAL residents to practice clinically at a large academic medical center, while also completing rotations at numerous community-based acute care sites throughout the Upstate and Midlands of South Carolina. While our program is based out of Prisma Health-Upstate, the resident will complete rotations and projects that will expose them to the entire health-system, consisting of 12 Acute Care Hospitals and hundreds of clinics and practices.

The HSPAL program at Prisma Health-Upstate will be one that relies on the entire department from technicians to pharmacists to leaders to develop the resident throughout their two years at Prisma. Our preceptors have a variety of experiences which will lead to a well-rounded resident, ready to transition from residency into their preferred specialty.
