Longitudinal learning experiences (required)
- Residency Leadership Academy
- In-house clinical on-call program
- Central operations – every 4th weekend (Saturday and Sunday shift)
- University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy Clinical Teaching Certificate Program*
- Present two pharmacy department Lunch & Learn
- Medication Use Evaluation (MUE) completed and poster presentation at ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting or cardiology conference of choice
- Major research project: SERC presentation & Discover USC poster presentation
Other requirements
- Must obtain SC Pharmacist License within 120 days start of residency
- Present Grand rounds (or ACPE-accredited pharmacist CE)
- One publication suitable for submission to a peer-reviewed journal
- Co-precept pharmacy students
- Participate in SC Society of Health-System Pharmacists
- Complete drug monograph and present to Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee
- Present cardiology topic of choice to Cardiovascular Disease Fellows
