Kelsey Hamlin, PharmD, is originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy after earning her bachelor’s degree in public health from The University of South Carolina.

She chose to pursue residency at Prisma Health because of the wide variety of learning experiences offered and the preceptors that are truly dedicated to her growth and learning. Hamlin’s professional interest include critical care and infectious diseases.

In her free time, she enjoys watching Gamecock football, working out at F45 and going to the lake.

  • Major project: Effect of oral adjuncts on norepinephrine duration in patients with elevated MAP goals after spine surgery
  • MUE: Utilization of straight sodium bicarbonate
Brandon Smith, PharmD

Brandon Smith, PharmD

Brandon Smith, PharmD, is originally from Westminster, Maryland. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Maryland School of Pharmacy in Baltimore, Maryland.

After pharmacy school, he went on to complete a PGY-1 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He chose to pursue a PGY-2 residency in Critical Care at Prisma Health because of the numerous ICU experiences, experienced preceptors, and an overall culture that promotes healthy learning.

In his free time, he enjoys playing with his dog, watching sports, and going to trivia.
