Application information

Thank you for your interest in the Prisma Health PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency program. The application deadline is January 5. Interested candidates must have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited degree program and be eligible for or have current licensure in South Carolina.

Application requirements

  • Must be a PharmD.
  • Eligible for current pharmacist licensure in South Carolina by July 1 (please see full licensure policy in Residency Policy Manual below).
  • Completed application via PhORCAS.
  • Official transcripts.
  • Curriculum vitae.
  • Letter of intent.
  • Three letters of recommendation submitted via PhORCAS.

An on-site interview is required. All applicants for the residency in pediatrics must participate in ASHP's residency match program.

Recruitment

Prisma Health will be recruiting in person for upcoming residency openings for its Columbia, SC programs.

Benefits

  • Stipend $52,000.
  • Paid Time Off: 22 days (includes vacation, sick days and holidays).

Professional meetings (educational leave and/or travel allowance):
  • ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting.
  • Pediatric Pharmacy Association (PPA) annual meeting.
  • Educational leave for other conferences as approved by residency program director.
Other
  • Complimentary parking.
  • Meal allowance in cafeteria and other on-campus approved locations (up to $300 per month with any overage being covered by employee discount).
  • A PHR jacket or vest.
