TeamSTEPPS

Team Strategies and Tools to Enhance Performance and Patient Safety (TeamSTEPPS) is an evidence-based teamwork system designed to improve communication and teamwork skills among healthcare professionals. Developed by the Department of Defense’s Patient Safety Program in collaboration with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, TeamSTEPPS is scientifically rooted in more than 20 years of research and lessons from the application of teamwork principles.

Join us for an interactive and educational program designed to enhance your understanding and application of teamwork and communication skills. Space is limited to 24 participants and all Prisma Health team members are welcome to participate.
