Will the COVID-19 vaccine be mandatory for students, faculty & scholars?
On Jan. 13, 2022, the Supreme Court allowed the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) COVID-19 vaccination requirement for healthcare workers to move forward. As a result, all Prisma Health team members, faculty, staff and students must be vaccinated for COVID-19 or receive a medical or religious exemption.
Documentation of COVID-19 vaccination(s) OR exemption approval must be uploaded in your myClinicalExchange (mCE) checklist prior to the start of your Prisma Health experience.
If you have not received your vaccinations or an exemption yet:
- Vaccination is available through Prisma Health and other public vaccination sites.
- To complete a medical exemption request, email the completed Medical Exemption Request Form to student.affairs@prismahealth.org. Student Affairs will submit your form to Employee Health for their review on your behalf.
- To complete a religious exemption request, email the completed Religious Exemption Request Form to student.affairs@prismahealth.org. Student Affairs will submit your form to HR for their review on your behalf.
