Epic is the electronic medical record (EMR) system used by Prisma Health. In order to gain access to this program, you must complete modules in Learning Hub. These modules will not automatically be assigned to your account; you must search for and self-assign them.
Please note, if you completed the appropriate Epic curriculum previously, you will not be required to take it again.
Instructions for Self-assigning Epic Modules
Please locate the specific curriculum assigned for your program below. Please note, some programs are required to complete two separate curricula.
Pharmacy (will also need to complete Willow IP Pharmacy - see below)
Pharmacy Technology (will also need to complete Willow IP Pharmacy Tech - see below)
Physician Assistant (PA) - View Only access is for students required to review medical records. If your preceptor has stated you will chart on patients, please see Medical Student and Ambulatory Physician section below.
Physician Assistant (PA) - This access is for students required to chart on patients. If you will not be charting on patients, please see the View Only section above.
Therapies (OT, OTA, PT, PTA, RT, ST) - Will also need to complete Ancillary Users (see above).
Please note, this does not include pre-therapy shadowing. No Epic access is required for students not currently enrolled in a therapy program.

Understanding the Epic Automation Process
Please note, Epic access is not automated for interns or researchers. If Epic is required for your specific role, access must be requested via I/S Service Now by someone within your Prisma Health host department.

Your participation within the EPIC Playground (PLY) Environment will be provided and coordinated by your Nursing Clinical Faculty.
