Specialized training in critical care

The Prisma Health/University of South Carolina School of Medicine Columbia Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program welcomed its first fellows in July of 2020. 

Fully accredited and operating alongside our established Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program, our program offers two fellow positions. Our goal is to train excellent clinicians and clinician-educators who are truly expert in the field of critical care medicine.

The program is a two-year fellowship for applicants out of internal medicine or emergency medicine programs. Additionally, the program offers a one-year fellowship for candidates who will have completed another internal medicine subspecialty fellowship and are interested in pursuing critical care.
