Critical care educational experiences

Our Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program is a two-year program, with each PGY year consisting of 52 one-week blocks.

PGY-4 year

CCM PGY-4 Schedule
MICU 9 weeks
CCU 7 weeks
Airways 2 weeks
POCUS (point of care ultrasound) 4 weeks
Night float 7 weeks
STICU 2 weeks
NISCU 2 weeks
Research 6 weeks
Elective 9 weeks
3 weeks of vacation and one week of holiday vacation                                                                                        


Electives: Acute dialysis (CRRT), radiology, transplant, burns, toxicology/hyperbaric oxygen, pediatric ICU, critical care nutrition. All but burns and transplant would be at PHR.

CCU 8 weeks
Night float 8 weeks

CVICU 4 weeks
Research 8 weeks
