Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship Columbia - Curriculum

Geriatric psychiatry educational experiences

The Prisma Health/University of South Carolina School of Medicine Columbia Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship Program is a one-year, post-residency clinical track program offering two positions each year. The program offers excellent training in the comprehensive evaluation and management of older adults in inpatient, longitudinal outpatient, integrated care and nursing home settings.

Fellows rotate on a dedicated geriatric psychiatry inpatient unit and geriatric consultation liaison service. A robust and multifaceted didactic curriculum is presented by board-certified geriatric psychiatry faculty, as well as faculty from geriatric medicine, neurology, sleep medicine and neuropsychology. Our fellows receive exemplary training in multidisciplinary clinical care settings.
