Infectious Disease Greenville - How to Apply

To be eligible for selection, applicants must apply via the Electronic Residency Application Service  (ERAS), and must be enrolled in the National Resident Matching Program  (NRMP). Applications will be reviewed from July to September. However, we encourage you to apply early to ensure that interview spots are still available. The selection process aims to holistically evaluate candidates’ applications including academic achievements, letters of recommendation, and evidence of professional qualifications such as communication, scholarly work, advocacy, and other achievements.

Selected applicants will be invited to interview with the Fellowship Selection Committee. During the 2024 interview season interviews will be held virtually or in person according to the applicant's preference.

Applicants must have completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program. We require three letters of recommendations with at least two from a physician practicing in the U.S.  International applicants must be ECFMG certified and current. Prisma Health sponsors J-1 visas only.  Applicants must have some clinical experience in the U.S. within the past year. Meeting the above criteria does not guarantee that an interview will be offered; for further admission criteria and benefits, please see our information on FREIDA™ AMA Residency & Fellowship Programs Database.
