Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery – Greenville - Curriculum

The curriculum for fellows will follow the FMIGS two-year standardized curriculum including both articles and video references. Fellows will also be required to complete a course in clinical research which will be tailored to their interests from both locally and nationally available options.

Schedule

The schedule is longitudinal throughout the two years and on average per week includes:

• Operating room: 3 days (approximately 1/3 robotics)
• Clinic: 1 day (both with faculty and fellow’s clinic)
• Protected research/academic time: 1 day

Call responsibilities include home general gyn service call approximately once every 6 weeks.  Opportunities typically also exist for in-house obstetric call as moonlighting.
