Pulmonary Disease & Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Greenville - Curriculum
Pulmonary Consult Service involves consultative care for patients on an inpatient pulmonary floor as well as other areas throughout the hospital, including our bone marrow transplant unit.
Medical Critical Care involves direct and consultative care for patients in our 30-bed Medical ICU.
Ambulatory Block is rotation that exposes multidisciplinary specialty clinics including cystic fibrosis, pulmonary rehabilitation, nodule clinic, thoracic oncology, sleep and pulmonary hypertension.
LTACH involves a rotation in our 10-bed LTACH ICU to assist with ICU care and weaning of patients requiring continued acute care.
Cardiovascular ICU involves a rotation in our 20-bed ICU dedicated to the pre/post-operative ICU care of cardiac patients.
Neurological ICU involves a rotation in our 16-bed ICU dedicated to the ICU care of those with neurologic problems.
Surgical-Trauma ICU is a rotation in our 15-bed ICU dedicated to the ICU care of surgical and trauma problems. This rotation will work in synergy with an existing Surgical Critical Care fellowship.
Electives are provided to support the career interests of each trainee. These rotations may include sleep disorders, thoracic surgery, interventional pulmonology, point of care ultrasound, palliative care, anesthesia, and teaching opportunities.
