Our clinics and facilities

Patient care experiences at the Prisma Health/University of South Carolina School of Medicine Columbia Sports Medicine Fellowship Program offer clinics in a wide variety of advanced medical facilities.
 

Parkridge Hospital

Prisma Health’s Baptist Parkridge Hospital has been caring for our neighbors in northwest Columbia since 2014, delivering compassionate, high-quality, safe care.

Our full-service community hospital and campus specialize in a range of inpatient and outpatient services – including cardiology, neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics, surgery and women’s care. Plus, the surrounding campus houses several specialty programs and facilities.
 

Sports Medicine Center at 2 Medical Park

Sports medicine physicians provide comprehensive care for local patients and athletes in our 3,000-square-foot center, featuring seven exam rooms, a casting room, a concussion testing room, consultation area and full-service x-rays.

Services include general and pediatric orthopedics, arthritis care and management of bone and joint injuries, including fracture care. Our physicians also treat diseases of the bone, including osteoporosis.
 

Prisma Health Family Medicine outpatient clinic

Offering complete healthcare for children and adults, our Colonial Drive facility offers the convenience of a community-based practice with the technology and resources necessary to treat a broad range of illnesses and injuries.

Our care team includes physicians, family physician assistants and psychologists alongside certified diabetes educators and pharmacologists. In addition to sports medicine care, we offer acute, preventive and chronic disease care for children and adults of all ages, behavioral health care, prenatal care and delivery, procedural care and travel clinic services.
 

Student Health Services

Student Health Services is the primary source of physical and mental healthcare services for students at the University of South Carolina. Located right in the heart of campus, facilities are housed in two adjacent buildings, both designed to represent a commitment to on-campus wellness. 

Comprehensive health services include primary care, sports medicine and physical therapy, women's health, wellness, mental health, pharmacy, laboratory, allergy and immunization/travel and nutrition services.
 

Prisma Health Orthopedics at Saluda Pointe

Sports medicine, orthopedic procedures and outpatient surgery including total joint and spine procedures in a welcoming and comfortable environment.

Our facilities offer evaluation, treatment and prevention of sports-related or other injuries. Minimally invasive surgery, medical wellness, physical therapy/rehabilitation and sports performance training are offered on-site.
 

Prisma Health Convenient Care

Same-day specialized urgent care center offering comprehensive sports medicine care to patients ages two and up. We are a full-service orthopedic walk-in clinic with on-site X-ray, fluoroscopy services, casting and durable medical equipment fitting.
