Venous and Lymphatic Medicine Greenville

Welcome to the section of Vascular Medicine, a division of Vascular Surgery, within Prisma Health. Our disciplines work cooperatively to provide a focused, fellowship in Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. This graduate medical education offering is part of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville. It is also associated with Clemson University’s Department of Cardiovascular Imaging. The fellowship is partially funded by a grant from the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine Foundation.

All Venous and Lymphatic Medicine training is located in Greenville, South Carolina, named one of nation’s best cities in which to live. Prisma Health is the largest not-for-profit health organization in South Carolina, serving more than 1.2 million patients annually. Both our city and our health organization are uniquely positioned to offer excellence in a training/work setting and during leisure.

Goals

• Provide focused opportunities to develop proficiency in diagnosing and treating venous and lymphatic disorders
• Provide opportunity and skill development in vascular imaging as it relates to diagnosing venous and lymphatic disorders
• Provide didactic instruction in an academic setting covering the basic science, clinical skills and procedural skills needed to develop qualified, comprehensive venous and lymphatic specialists.
