Emergency Medicine admissions

Applicants must participate in the National Resident Matching Program and apply via the Electronic Residency Application Service. The application deadline is Dec. 1st. Interviews are held Nov. through Jan. Virtual Events will begin in July 2022 for interested students to explore our residency program. Application requirements

  • Two letters of recommendation required.
  • Applicant’s medical school graduation date may not exceed two years.
  • Applicants must pass USMLE Step 1 or USMLE Step 2 Clinical Knowledge and USMLE Step 2 Clinical Skills/COMLEX Level 2 PE.
  • Foreign medical school applicants must be ECFMG certified by Jun. 1st, and have some United States medical training that includes direct patient care.
  • Observerships do not fulfill this requirement.
  • Visas are not sponsored.
