No. We only review application materials in ERAS and select residents exclusively using the match process. No application materials emailed to the program will be reviewed.

We will review applications throughout the interview period of Oct.–Jan. while we have available interview slots. We do recommend that you submit your applications early to ensure interview slots are available.

Yes! We appreciate the unique perspective that DO training brings, which we find aligns well with our residency’s focus on lifestyle medicine. We have multiple DOs on our team.

Prisma Health requires that international medical graduates must have completed their ECFMG certificate by the time they start residency. All international medical gradutes must be ECFMG eligible at the time of application. 

We prefer if international medical graduate applicants have at least 1 year of US clinical experience.

Our virtual interview will include delivery of in-depth information about the program, individual interviews with program leadership and faculty, and social time with residents.

We recognize that standardized testing has limitations and provides only a snapshot of knowledge that is not always representative of an applicant’s abilities or potential. As such, each application is reviewed as a whole and there are no firm thresholds that determine eligibility for interviews.

We will be conducting virtual interviews October through January for the 2020-21 season to protect the health of our interviewees, faculty, residents, and patients and limit further spread of the coronavirus. We are disappointed to not be able to meet our applicants in person and demonstrate the strengths of our program, organization, and location first-hand. However, we are confident that our creative process to showcase our residency and its culture virtually will provide you with great insight into the program.
