General Surgery Residency Greenville - Program Details
The Surgical Residency Training Program at Prisma Health is a fully accredited five-year program. The combined surgical service handles approximately 300 admissions each month with an average daily census of 150 patients.
Each chief resident finishes the program with more than 1,100 cases as a surgeon and more than 200 as a teaching assistant or first assistant. Typical endoscopy experience is 200-250 cases.
