General Surgery Residency Greenville - How to Apply
Positions are matched by the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). Applications will be accepted through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS) only.
- To be eligible for ranking, applicants must participate in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) and apply via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
- Application deadline is Nov. 1st.
- Interviews are held Oct. thru mid-Jan. each year.
- Three letters of recommendation are required.
- All applicant’s medical school graduation date should not be more than two years.
- All applicants must pass USMLE Step 1 and USMLE Step 2 CK on the first attempt, with an average score of 245.
- Foreign medical school applicants must be ECFMG certified by Jun. 1st and have some US clinical training with direct patient care activity. Observerships do not fulfill this requirement.
- The program does not sponsor Visas.
