Jeff Gerac, MD

Dr. Gerac graduated from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in 2004. He then completed his Med-Peds residency here in Greenville in 2008. Dr. Gerac served as Med-Peds chief resident here during his 4th year. Currently Dr. Gerac attends on the pediatric wards at Children’s Hospital and has worked at Greer Memorial as a Med-Peds Hospitalist as well. In 2009 and 2010, Dr. Gerac was awarded the John P. Matthews Jr. Outstanding Faculty Teaching Award as the pediatric attending who best demonstrated outstanding clinical care and dedication to resident education.  Currently Dr. Gerac is also the lead physician for implementation of the EPIC Electronic Health Record at GHS.  He has worked closely with our faculty to develop templates to assist with the transition of adolescents and young adults from pediatric to adult care settings throughout the Greenville Health System.
