Full-spectrum neurological training
At Prisma Health, our faculty has vast experience and expertise in neurology and specific representations in epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular diseases, headache, stroke, movement disorders, memory and sleep disorders. We work closely with our colleagues in the neuro ICU, neurosurgery, neuropsychiatry, neuroophthalmology and neuroradiology departments to provide the most comprehensive care to patients with neurological diseases.
Neurology residents also have the opportunity to train at the first Comprehensive Stroke Center in the Midlands region of South Carolina, a multidisciplinary program at Prisma Health Richland Hospital that provides life-saving care using advanced technology and the latest advancements in stroke diagnosis and treatment.
