Neurology Residency Greer - Curriculum

Diverse experience in inpatient medicine, critical care medicine, and outpatient medicine which includes medical subspecialty experiences as well. Additionally, during their transitional PGY 1 year, neurology residents will have the opportunity to participate in the following:

• Four weeks of Inpatient Neurology
• Eight weeks of Electives
• Four weeks Emergency Medicine
• Half day per week (or equivalent) outpatient Neurology Longitudinal Continuity Clinic throughout intern year

Curriculum designed to build a solid foundation in Neurology.

• Four weeks of Neurology Boot Camp as an introduction to Neurology fundamentals
• Sixteen weeks Inpatient Neurology
• Twelve weeks Outpatient Neurology
• Four weeks Epilepsy
• Four weeks Neuromuscular
• Four weeks Movement Disorders
• Four weeks Neurology and Rehabilitation
• Four weeks Elective

• Eight weeks Inpatient Neurology
• Eight weeks Epilepsy
• Eight weeks Neuromuscular
• Eight weeks Elective
• Eight weeks Movement Disorders
• Four weeks Outpatient Neurology
• Four weeks Child Neurology – outpatient
• Four weeks Psychiatry

Curriculum designed to transition residents to independently practicing Neurologists

• Sixteen weeks Electives
• Sixteen weeks Outpatient Neurology
• Eight weeks Inpatient Neurology
• Eight weeks Child Neurology – inpatient/outpatient
• Four weeks Boards Review and Business of Neurology
