Nurturing the full spectrum of care

The most commonly stated reasons for choosing a career in obstetrics and gynecology revolve around the wide spectrum of obstetrics, primary care medicine, and surgery – all in one specialty. Our program is designed to nurture these broad interests.

With the support of our faculty, we plan to continue the successful tradition established by the program's previous leaders to train practitioners who are well-prepared to meet the challenges of obstetrics and both ambulatory and surgical gynecology.

Our program offers a strong faculty, both in general obstetrics and gynecology, the recognized subspecialties (gynecologic oncology, maternal-fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology-infertility) as well as clinical genetics, ultrasonography, urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery.
