OB/GYN Residency Columbia - How to Apply
Acceptance requires graduation from an approved medical school by the Council on Graduate Medical Education of the American Medical Association.
International/foreign medical graduates are welcome to apply, but you must be a U.S. citizen or hold a green card as a permanent resident.
All applicants are considered for interview by the Residency Selection Committee. Candidates should complete the application process through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Submission of applications will begin in September of each year and applications are accepted through the end of October.
Interviews are conducted from November through the mid December and offered on either a Monday and Friday. You should have the following in place when applying:
- Transcript.
- USMLE Step 2 at least 220.
- COMLEX (1 and 2) at least 600.
- Three letters of recommendation.
- Letter from the Dean.
First year appointments begin on July 1st of each year.
