Our program, at a glance

The heart of Prisma Health Upstate is the Greenville Memorial Medical Campus (GMMC), a series of specialized centers which includes Women’s Services.

Training highlights

Our academic department offers robust training from specialists and subspecialists in the following areas:

  • Academic General OBGYN
  • Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery / Urogynecology (FPMRS)
  • Gynecology Oncology (GO)
  • Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI)
  • Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM)
  • Minimally-Invasive Gynecology Surgery (MIGS)
  • Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (PAG)

Residents also operate and train with many additional faculty members in our Prisma Health primary OBGYN groups. This provides exposure to a more diverse patient population and broader range of practice patterns.

Our OBGYN Department also offers two fellowship programs, a 3-year MFM fellowship (accepting 1 fellow each year, total 3 fellows) and and 2-year MIGS fellowship (accepting 1 fellow every other year, total 1 fellow).
