Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University 

I was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for undergrad. I attended East Carolina University for medical school and made the move from Greenville, NC to Greenville, SC for residency. My fiancée, Marion, and I decided on Greenville for many reasons. Greenville has the feel of a small town with its own personality, with all the opportunities afforded by living in a big city. The proximity to the mountains allows for weekend hiking and fly-fishing trips. Our program prioritizes early operative experience and encourages residents to get involved with patient care from day one. Coming to Greenville provides the opportunity to develop one on one mentorships with faculty members who will guide you throughout your journey to becoming an excellent orthopaedic surgeon. The focus on resident education is paramount to our program. In my spare time I love to fly fish and watch any and all sports. I am a die hard Carolina Panthers fan….Keep Pounding!
