A cross–country network
With an expansive alumni network stretching from Bonner's Ferry, Idaho, to Tampa, Florida, and everywhere in–between, our program is proud to have produced pediatricians and pediatric sub–specialists that care for children across the country.
While we don't get to see their faces quite as often as we would like, our alumni know that Columbia will always be a place they can call back to whenever they need a friendly face to see or a warm voice to hear, a place that will always welcome them home.
General practice impact
Each year, approximately 60% of our graduating residents go on to practice general pediatrics either in private practice or academic settings. While many remain in South Carolina and Columbia to practice, almost a quarter of our graduates each year will leave the state to practice in a variety of settings from rural Northern Idaho to urban South Florida.

Over the past decade, our program has successfully matched graduates with fellowships in a variety of specialties across the country, speaking to the abilities and quality of trainees our program is able to graduate each year.
