Anu Nagar, MD, is an ABPN-certified adult psychiatrist and ABPN-certified geriatric psychiatrist. After completing her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Illinois in Champaign, she received her medical degree from St. Matthew’s University in the Cayman Islands. She went on to complete her psychiatry residency training at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo followed by a fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at Emory University in Atlanta.
Dr. Nagar has a true passion for healthy aging and strives to keep her geriatric patients as independent as possible for as long as possible. Additionally, she has a strong passion for medical humanities and leads a longitudinal elective for the medical students in the same. She values the role the humanities play in forming well-rounded physicians and preventing physician burn out.
Casey Berson, MD, is an ABPN-Certified Adult Psychiatrist and ABPN-Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist who is board eligible in Pediatrics. After completing a B.S. in Biological and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University, Dr. Berson earned a M.D. from St. George University. She completed the Triple Board residency at the University of Kentucky where she served as Chief Resident of that program in her final year. She was awarded the H. Otto Kaak Outstanding Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Resident Award in 2016. While an undergraduate she worked as a research assistant in the Behavioral Analysis of Beginning Years lab under Michael Goldstein, Ph.D. in the Department of Psychiatry. She also has psychotherapy training in both Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and ENCOMPASS CBT+.
Jessica Obeysekare, MD, completed college at the University of Pittsburgh and attended medical school and psychiatry residency training at Brown University. Dr. Obeysekare was unfamiliar with this part of the country but heard about Prisma Health when a colleague transferred to South Carolina. She decided to explore for herself, loved the area and the opportunity, and decided to move here with her family. She loves the fields of reproductive psychiatry and addiction medicine, and is the faculty lead for the resident rotations in these two areas. In her role as APD, she enjoys overseeing the didactics curriculum and the community service subcommittee.
Frank Alexander Clark, MD, is a board-certified adult psychiatrist, who received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Monmouth College in Illinois and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Northwestern University. He then completed his residency in general psychiatry at Palmetto Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC (now Prisma Health-Midlands).
He has held many leadership positions in national organizations including the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American Psychiatric Association (APA). Locally he serves on the board of directors for National Alliance on Mental Illness-Greenville (NAMI) and Mental Health of America-Greenville.
He has a strong passion for medical mission work and has traveled to numerous countries including Zambia, Ireland, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Canada, and Haiti to serve others medically and spiritually. He enjoys spending time with his family, running, writing poetry, and traveling.

Jim Nagi, LISW-CP is a Licensed Independent Social Worker specializing in clinical practice. Throughout his career he has served adults, children, and families by providing Outpatient, Inpatient, and Home-Based therapy. He also held administrative leadership positions at Mental Health, Integrated Care and Employee Assistance organizations. He received a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan. Specialty areas include Brief Family Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Clinical Supervision, and Integrated Care.
Cathy Stone, MSW, LISW-CP is a licensed clinical social worker who has been privileged to work in many different settings in the behavioral health field over the past 25 years including inpatient, residential, private practice, intensive outpatient program, state and community non-profit mental health agencies, integrated medical and behavioral healthcare and emergency mental health. Cathy became interested in pursuing this career while volunteering for the local suicide hotline. She received her master’s in social work from University of South Carolina School of Social Work and her undergraduate degree in political science from Furman University. Cathy has a passion for assisting patients in finding and utilizing unrecognized internal resources to create their best life. She has studied and practiced Acceptance and Commitment Therapy since 2007. She also has extensive training in Satir Family Systems and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy.
Jennifer Szelistowski, DO, is an adult psychiatrist at Prisma Health Greer Center for Psychiatry and the Spartanburg Area Mental Health Center in Spartanburg, SC. A Pennsylvania native, she completed a BS in Biology with a minor in Spanish at Temple University in Philadelphia. Following her undergraduate career, she completed her medical degree at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, SC, and subsequently her residency training in psychiatry at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. Her clinical interests include adult outpatient psychiatry, consult/liaison medicine, and medical education. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and learning academic and pop culture trivia.
Belynda Veser, MD earned her BS in Nursing from the University of Delaware in 1991. She then completed medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1995. Dr. Veser finished her general adult psychiatric residency at MUSC in 1999 and completed a fellowship there in geriatric psychiatry in 2006. She is board certified in both geriatric and adult psychiatry. While in Charleston she had experience in both private practice and community mental health. Other professional experience includes working in the Asheville VA Medical Center on a team that served those with SPMI (severe and persistent mental illness). Dr. Veser served as the medical director at St. Lukes Hospital Center of Behavioral Health in Columbus, NC from 2013 until its closure in April of 2020. This was a 10 bed inpatient psychiatric unit that served individuals age 55 and over for various psychiatric conditions including depression, dementia, anxiety disorders and others. She had been working on the unit since 2006, when she and her family moved to Columbus NC from Charleston SC. Her philosophy is to find the humanity and strength in all people before diagnosing or treating any condition.
Christine White, MMFT, LMFT, LPC is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor and has been in the behavioral health field since 2001. She completed her MMFT degree from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX. She has worked in private practice and a variety of professional settings across her career including intensive in-home therapy for at-risk youth, relational therapy with post-adoptive families for Agape Child and Family Services in Memphis, smoking cessation research at the University of TN Health Science Center for the TARGIT study, and she was an Employee Assistance therapist and training coordinator for Centura Health in Colorado. She enjoys being a lifelong learner and is passionate about staying up to date with cutting edge therapy approaches to benefit her clients. She is trained in Theraplay and PCIT play therapies and is a certified PREPARE/ENRICH premarital assessment facilitator. Her areas of specialization include Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) trauma therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), couple and relational therapy, grief and loss, work related challenges and short-term brief therapy. She is married and has an adorable greyhound. In her free time, she is active in her church and loves to go on cruises, bake pies and swing dance.
