IRBNet Help
IRBNet is a suite of online tools including electronic protocol management and online submissions for the Prisma Health research community. This system significantly streamlines protocol submission and review processes for researchers and the IRB.
Access to IRBNet
You can access the Prisma Health registration and submission portal by going to IRBNet.
- Click the “New User Registration” link in the upper right hand corner of the page (immediately under the login text fields) and follow the instructions.
- Select Prisma Health, Greenville, SC as your affiliation.
Note: There are not separate site affiliations for the Midlands and Upstate. This is the only Prisma Health link. You will be able to identify IRB committee and campus in study specific submissions. All researchers should have Researcher at Prisma Health, Greenville, SC as your affiliation in your User Profile in order for Forms and Templates libraries to load. - Follow the instructions in IRBNet and enter your preferred email. If you have a Prisma Health email, we recommend that you use it for communication with this system.
- You will be asked to submit a recovery email (required) It is recommended that this be a different email from your primary email. Recovery phone number is optional, however if you do enter a phone number, it should be a cell number or phone that can accept text messages. Your recovery email will be the email address that is used to reset your password in the event you have forgotten your IRBNet password.
- If applicable, notify you research team that you are registered.
Note: File conversion can not be completed until study staff are registered.
