Workday Training for Grants Management

This course is designed to help you understand your role and responsibility in managing your new sponsored program or grant award. You will be introduced to some grant management basic terms and concepts specific to Workday and get acquainted with grant and award processes in Workday to successfully manage the requirements and obligations of the grant and award. This training should be completed by the Principal Investigator and any appointed designee(s) to ensure a basic understanding of grants management requirements. 

At the conclusion of this education, you will be able to: 

• Navigate Workday to administer the grant and award. 
• Utilize Workday as a tool for grant management and reporting. 
• Understand your role and responsibility in the grants management process. 
• Evaluate the award budget to ensure adherence to spending provisions. 
• Practice financial acumen throughout the lifecycle of the sponsored project or program.
