Award Acceptance Procedures

To ensure contracts contain all pertinent information for award management, protect the institution, and verify originating sponsor of funds, the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) reviews and approves sponsored award agreements. Any revisions will be negotiated by OSP and the sponsor. Final execution of the award agreement requires signature by the authorized organizational representative. Principal Investigators are not permitted to sign grant agreements on behalf of the institution.
