Applying for a Grant
Developing a successful application requires significant time and preparation. The Office is here to help ease the administrative burden and reduce errors that may potentially remove your proposal from consideration by a sponsor. Please contact the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) as soon as you begin to consider submitting a grant proposal. If you already have a grant in mind, please complete the Notification of Intent to Submit form. (Please note that the Notification of Intent to Submit form is intended for Prisma Health team members. External collaborators may contact OSP directly for guidance.)
All external funding proposals must be submitted via OSP to ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines, Prisma Health policies and all applicable regulations, review for operational impact, obtain all necessary approvals and maintain an accurate record for reporting purposes.
OSP is here to assist with:
- Interpreting sponsor guidelines
- Developing budgets and justifications
- Proposal writing, editing, and proofreading
- Completing the submission to sponsor
- Securing institutional approval and sign-off for proposal submissions
- Submitting the proposal to sponsor and following up on outcome
- Receiving, negotiating, and accepting grant award agreements
