Research Seed Grants
The Research Seed Grant initiative facilitates collaborative pilot research and scholarly activities supporting Prisma Health’s research goals and priorities and those of its university partners (Clemson University, Furman University and University of South Carolina).
Seed Grants in the areas of health system science; health care delivery innovation; community health, population health, and health disparities/equity; educating and supporting the health care workforce, and basic science and translational research are supported through funding from Prisma Health and academic partners. Applicants may request a funding amount up to $20,000. Applicants may cite matching funds from their respective units or from other sources, but cost-share is not required.

Grant funding opportunities available for Prisma Health and academic collaborators within the Health Sciences Center's academic partners. Applications are due September 6, 2024 by 5:00 p.m. (EST).
Reporting templates
Reporting templates will be sent to the PI at the the half-way point of the project period and at the end of the project term.
No-cost extension request
No-cost extensions may be available by request only. The request must be received a minimum 30 days prior to the project end date. Requests extend the project end date including budget spend, but do not allocate further funding beyond the originally awarded budget.
