Clinical and Translational Research Certificate

Prisma Health and Clemson University’s Department of Public Health Sciences and Mathematical Sciences offers a graduate-level certificate in Clinical and Translational Research.

The goal of the program is to enhance the clinical and translational research capabilities of clinicians, nurses, research support staff and other health professionals. The program will be delivered via synchronous classes in the evening for working professionals at Prisma Health.  Virtual participation is possible.  First year classes primarily occur on Tuesdays, and second year classes primarily occur on Mondays or Thursdays.

A bachelor’s degree is a prerequisite. This program has been approved for tuition support. Those currently in clinical or research roles take precedence. For Prisma Health tuition support, apply below. To earn this graduate certificate, students must complete eight required credit hours and an additional four hours of graduate-level elective courses.

The application for Prisma Health team member tuiton support for a Fall 2024 start is NOW open! For Prisma Health team members, the tuition support application must be completed/approved prior to completing the Clemson University graduate application for the Program.

2024 Timeline

Friday, June 28, 2024 Application deadline for preferential selection of Prisma Health tuition support.
Friday, July 12, 2024 Applicants notified of Prisma Health tuition support; applicants must apply to Clemson University.
Monday, July 22, 2024 Last day to apply to Clemson University for fall semester.
Wednesday, August 21, 2024 Classes begin.
