Health Research Collaborative

Purpose

The Health Research Collaborative Network is a community that links researchers across Prisma Health and its academic partners, and endeavors to foster and support collaborative research aligned with Prisma Health research priorities. These include clinical quality efforts, care model design, patient experience, provider wellbeing, responses to the dynamic payer environment and improving the health and health outcomes of our community.

This community will provide an informal means by which researchers learn about Prisma Health research priorities, opportunities, and challenges.

Network members may also share insights about extramural research funding opportunities and brainstorm opportunities to address barriers to health research at Prisma Health.  This community may also generate research ideas, build collaborations, and identify synergies encouraging proposal development and subsequent funding.

Membership

Researchers affiliated with Prisma Health, Clemson University, Furman University, and the University of South Carolina and actively collaborating within Prisma Health are encouraged to participate in the Health Research Collaborative.

Meetings will also be attended by representatives of relevant Prisma Health Offices of Research Services to address pertinent agenda items, clinician investigators or research leaders active on projects being discussed, and by investigators from academic partners exploring potential collaborations at Prisma Health.
