Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University 

I’m from North Carolina and went to UNC Chapel Hill for undergrad and played beach volleyball. I went to ECU for medical school where two of my ortho mentors had graduated from Greenville. I got to see firsthand the quality of surgeons that Greenville produces, and I knew I’d continue to have great mentors to learn from. Greenville is the perfect size town- it has a fun downtown and social scene, but I was still able to get my dog a yard.  I was also immediately able to find a group to play volleyball and tennis with. My co-residents are awesome, and we’re always either headed downtown for drinks or cooking out at someone’s house.
